What deletion removes
- Your account, email, and display name
- All detection events, thumbnails, and history
- Your zones, response preferences, and integration settings
- Your Ring link (on our side — you should also disconnect from the Ring app)
Removal is permanent. Detection history cannot be restored once deleted.
What we keep (briefly)
For tax, billing, and legal compliance, we retain minimal records of subscription transactions for up to 7 years. These records don't include detection data or camera configuration — just enough to answer the question "did this account pay a bill in 2024?"
Alternatives to deleting
- Pause detection — keeps your account but stops watching
- Downgrade to Basic — keeps detection, removes Pro-only features
- Export your data — download a copy before deleting
